Strong Market Response at AMAALA
Stephen Cheeseborough, Head of Development at Red Sea Global, shared the update in an exclusive interview with Arabian Business. “We’ve sold 50 per cent of the inventory in two weeks. So it’s amazing to see how the market has responded to that,” he said.Diverse Branded Residences Drive Demand
The fast sales follow the release of three branded residential offerings at AMAALA:- Nammos apartments with dual marina and ocean views
- 13 Clinique La Prairie residences designed by John Heah
- 26 Rosewood villas, including a landmark home located on its own private headland
Wellness-Led Living at Clinique La Prairie
The Clinique La Prairie residences mark a global first for the 110-year-old Swiss medical wellness brand, which is debuting branded residences for the first time. These homes integrate wellness-focused programming and direct access to a dedicated medical wellness facility. “To bring a brand like Clinique La Prairie to Saudi Arabia speaks volumes to what we’re about as a destination, and how they see our destination and the potential of the Saudi GCC market,” Cheeseborough said.Pricing Targets Ultra-High-Net-Worth Buyers
Residential pricing at AMAALA starts from approximately SAR 4.5 million for apartments and reaches up to SAR 400 million for the most exclusive villas. The project is aimed at high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth buyers seeking what Cheeseborough described as “legacy assets” for multi-generational ownership.Red Sea Global Expands Residential Strategy
Beyond branded homes, Red Sea Global is also developing Andar residences, an unbranded residential community built around a golf course and operated directly by the company. “Because of the success we’ve had in running our first two hotels of Red Sea global, we’re now running our unbranded residential communities, and we’re able to deliver against experience assets alongside other branded residencies to create a true residential second home, third home community for both international and domestic and regional buyers,” he explained. Cheeseborough added that buyers are drawn by both the destination’s natural environment and Red Sea Global’s proven delivery record, noting that prices at the Red Sea project have risen in stages as inventory sold out. “They have a first mover advantage to come in early and are buying our pricing in the Red Sea. We’ve increased them in intervals as we’ve started to sell out more. We’ll do the same in AMAALA,” he concluded. Also read: Top 5 Areas to Find Distressed Properties in Dubai (2026 Guide)
