Dubai launches fully digital property sale service
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has rolled out the initial phase of its new “Digital Sale” platform, marking a significant step toward achieving fully digital real estate transactions across the emirate.
This innovative service sets new standards for transaction speed, reliability, and efficiency while reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a forward-thinking, sustainable digital economy.
The Digital Sale platform allows customers to complete property registration and sale procedures entirely online, utilizing secure electronic signatures through the UAE Pass app.
Dubai Property Sales Go Digital
With this new system, buyers and sellers can finalize deals anytime and anywhere, operating 24/7 in line with the Government’s vision to provide unified digital services.
According to DLD, the service transforms the traditional process of buying, selling, and registering properties by simplifying steps, expediting transactions, and ensuring the highest levels of security, trust, and transparency.
This initiative not only enhances Dubai’s attractiveness for global investors but also supports an innovation-driven real estate ecosystem anchored in technology and efficiency.
How the Digital Sale Works
The process offers a fully remote, end-to-end digital experience. It starts with the creation of an electronic sale contract, which the seller signs and shares with the buyer through the online platform.
The buyer then transfers payment to a dedicated service account, after which the ownership certificate is instantly issued in the buyer’s name via the same application.
This seamless system removes the need for any physical visits while maintaining secure and verified transactions.
Both parties must hold valid Emirates IDs and have active UAE Pass accounts to complete digitally verified signatures.
Eligible properties must be located within freehold zones, classified as residential or commercial, free of mortgages, and individually owned.
Driving Real Estate Growth and Innovation
DLD noted that the introduction of the Digital Sale service coincides with Dubai’s robust real estate performance in recent years and serves as a major catalyst for continued market growth.
The platform aligns with the emirate’s objective of achieving 100% digital real estate services, strengthening its innovation-led property market and boosting global investor confidence.
Unveiled during GITEX Global 2025, this initiative reaffirms Dubai’s leadership in digital transformation and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033.
In addition, DLD showcased the Real Estate Instant Registration Platform at the same event, an advanced interactive dashboard providing real-time property transaction data across Dubai’s districts to enhance transparency and trust.
